A study by Istituto Piepoli reveals Italians greatly appreciated President Mattarella's choice to entrust Mario Draghi, former President at ECB, with forming a new government.
Mario Draghi surpasses Giuseppe Conte also in the judgment on competence, as revealed by an Istitto Piepoli’s survey. As for parties, Lega remains in first place with 23.5%, according to the Democratic Party with 20.5%.
85% of Italians greatly or quite liked the choice of President Sergio Mattarella to entrust Mario Draghi with the formation of a new government. The highest approval (93%) comes from the voters of the Center-Left, 88% from those of the Center-Right and 82% from the M5S, which collapses to 15%.
