Livio Gigliuto is the Chairman of Istituto Piepoli. Sociologist, General Director of the Digital Italy Foundation and Director of the National Observatory on Digital Communication and Chairman of the Opinio Italia Consortium.
He is the author of “How to promote the city. Effective local marketing strategies and actions” (FrancoAngeli, 2015) by “On run. Certainly” (Malcor D’ Edizione, 2017) together with Fabio Pagliara; of “Italy communicates digitally” (Bonanno, 2019), of “The Opinion of Italians in the first twenty years of the 2000s” (FrancoAngeli, 2020) together with Nicola Piepoli; of “Italy that communicates digitally. 2021 Edition”, of “The Opinion of Italians in 2022 (and surroundings)” with Sara Merigo and numerous essays on communication, marketing and public opinion. Between 2013 and 2018 he led the Territorial Marketing of the city of Catania.
He teaches communication and market research in numerous master’s courses, teaches public communication & social networks at SNA, National School of Administration. Comments and analyzes the main current events, society, politics and economics on the most important national media.
