After a degree in statistics and economics, Monia gained a master’s degree in statistics for market research and territory development (Master Starter, Istituto Guglielmo Tagliacarne, Rome) and specialised in the use of multivariate statistical techniques (particularly principal component analysis, cluster analysis and geomarketing). In November 2005, Monia started working as research director for Istituto Piepoli’s Rome office, where she specialises in customer satisfaction research. She is in charge of the Institute’s Opinion Department and is responsible for collating the weekly “Tableau de Bord” report.
